Abstract

This research aims to discuss the human motivations depicted in Anna Elizabeth's Deadly Illusions 2021. This research is a literary psychological analysis that specifically applies the concept of Karl S. Bernhardt (1945) to describe and discuss the psychological aspects of the main character and how these aspects affect the main character's personality. In this research, data was collected using the observation method. Data were observed using note-taking techniques to identify and analyze the data. The data were analyzed using qualitative methods and presented descriptively. The results of the data interpretation revealed that the main character has all the psychological aspects in his life, and there are some of them that affect his personality the most, such as how she thinks, speaks, and acts.
