Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the representation of the three levels of psyche in the two main characters in the film Bad Boys for Life 2020 and find out what is most dominant in these three psychological levels. The theory used in this study is the psychoanalytic theory developed by Sigmund Freud. In this study, writer used qualitative methods. Through data analysis, the writer seen that the representation of the three soul levels in the main characters improves the overall understanding of their personality and motivations. The contrast between Mike's iddriven impulsive nature and Marcus' ego-driven cautious persona creates an interesting and dynamic partnership that influences their interactions and decisionmaking throughout the film. the writer also concludes that Mike's most dominant psychological level is Id. Mike's fearless, thrill-seeking, and impulsive nature closely aligns with id characteristics. While the dominant psychological level of Marcus Burnett is Ego. Marcus' character exhibits a more rational and pragmatic approach to situations, which is in close harmony with the ego characteristics.
