Abstract
The aims of this research are to determine the kind of sign Mc Donalds Advertising Poster and determine the meaning of ikon, index and symbol. In order to discover the icon, index and symbol, the theories that applied are use semiotic theory by Charles Sanders Peirce. This study uses a qualitative methodology in order to collect and analyze the data. The data that uses is taken from Pinterest platform. There are 15 data that analyze. The result of the study the writer found the common icon that used are the picture of hamburgers, French fries and also the drink. The common index that uses are the logo of Mc Donalds. The symbols that uses are the text description.
