Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify comparisons in the storyline of the novel Alice’s adventures in wonderland by Lewis’s carol and the movie Alice’s adventures in wonderland directed by William sterling. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, and data is collected by watching the movie Alice’s adventures in wonderland directed by William sterling and reading the novel Alice’s adventures in wonderland by Lewis’s carol and taking screen shots of the parts to be analyzed. For categorization and classification, this research uses the main theory of erneste pamusuk about ecranization written in his book entitled novel and film and uses Freytag's pyramid analysis technique. From the data obtained, there are 25 data in Freytag's pyramid and 37 data in ecranization.
