Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and find the types of feminism in the film "Eat Pray Love" and to find out the true meaning of happiness. This study applied a qualitative descriptive method. Meanwhile, in obtaining data through observation and observation of scene by scene, dialogue, along with body language containing types of feminism from observing the film to find out about these types. This research uses the feminism theory of Imelda Whelehan to find the types of feminism. Based on the analyzed data. The results show that the types of feminism found in this film are 10 (liberal), 5 (Marxist/social), 1 (radical), and 4 (postmodernism).
