Abstract

Character and characterization in a film is very important, with character and characterization makes the film come alive and beautiful. The purpose of this study is to analyze the character and characterization of the main character in the film Brave. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Meanwhile, the data was obtained from watching the film Brave and then observing the physical appearance and looking for some of the main characters' personalities. This study uses Goordon Allport's theory to find seven personalities. Based on the analyzed data. The results showed that 1) the main character's physical appearance, 2) the main character's personality has seven personalities, data 1 (Expansian of Self-Feeling), 9 (Warm SelfRelation with Other), 2 (Emotional Security), 3 (Realistic Perception ), 1 (Skills and Tasks), 4 (Self-Understanding), 1 (Unfying Philosophy of Life).
