Abstract
This study provides an explanation of how to find out about the relationship between student motivations towards the English achievement in grade VII students at John Paul’s School Bekasi. This research is a quantitative study with a population of this level is 60 and the sample to be taken in this study is 30 students. This research was conducted in March 2019 until May 2019. The instruments to be used in this study were questionnaires and student learning outcomes in the final semester examinations. The type of data used is a questionnaire where the respondent must choose the right statement according to their abilities through the statement. For the results of the achievement of English language students can be taken through their learning outcomes. After getting student learning outcomes, the author analyzes the score in the results of hypothesis testing is 0.898 score. This means that the correlation between student motivation and achievement of English students for Junior High School level at John Paul’s School is very high observed = 0.898> rtable = 0.374, meaning that there is a positive higher correlation between the two variables.
