Abstract
ThisstudyisaimedtoexplainthekindsAbstractandConcreteinEnglish.ThesubjectoftheresearchisthesongsbyLinkingPark.Theresearchusesadescriptiveanalysisqualitativeresearch.Thisresearchiscombiningtheoryfrom SkanderaandBurleigh(2005)AnneLobeck(2014)asthemaintheory.ThedatafromthisresearchareThirty-Five,ithasnotincludedwiththecomparisonvowelyet,it’saboutabstractandconcrete.Theprocessinanalyzingthedatais:(1)preparingthedata,(2)analyzingthedata,(3)discussingthedata,andfinally(4)concludingthedata.TheresultsoftheresearchshowthatVowelLaxit’sabout(41.81%),Voweldiphthongshows(14.28%),VowelMonophthongshows(2.85%),VowelTenseshows(31.17%),VowelDigraphshows(2.75%),vowelvoicedshows(7.14%)
