Abstract

This research aims to: (1) to find a pop-up book design that is suitable for the criteria of grade 1 students of SDIT Al-Fidaa, (2) to find out how the pop-up book design can develop the English vocabulary of grade 1 students of SDIT AI Fidaa. The research used Branch's ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation as the theoretical basis. Instrument used were questionnaire, interview and observation. The results of the validation carried out by the expert, pop-up book is suitable to be a book with material aimed at learning first grade vocabulary, from the evaluation results stated that English teacher and first grade students of SDIT Al-Fidaa gave a positive response to pop-up book as a media for learning English vocabulary.
