Abstract
English vocabulary, one of the linguistic elements, plays an important role in foreign language learning for young learners. The purpose of this study is to find out what media students need to improve vocabulary at RA Haniyah Tambun Bekasi. The method used in this research is Research and Development. ADDIE is a product development concept. There are five steps in developing story book materials that are adopted from the ADDIE model and guide researchers in developing illustrated vocabulary dictionaries. ADDIE stands for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate This stage is a product trial. Story book that has been developed and printed are tested on RA Haniyah Tambun Bekasi students. This product trial was conducted on August 16, 2023, which had previously been interviewed by 2 homeroom teachers and the principal. This can be seen from the assessment given by 2 material experts with a score of 90. At the interval, this category gets a score of "Excellent". Based on the results of implementation from students and teachers and students of RA Haniyah Tambun Bekasi, they liked the story content of this book but there were some minor suggestions such as simplifying sentences and add a new topic.
