Abstract
This study aims to find out the /r/, /y/, and /w/ consonants found on Ariana Grande's album and uses the theories put forward by Roach (2009). The consonants are immediately following or preceded by the non-voiced consonant consonance /p/, /t/, and /k/ the consonants are preceded of the other non - voiced consonants so that they are pronounced in the Ariana Grande album. The data objects used in this study are 32 data obtained from 2 albums, namely 11 songs from the album "My Everything" and 1 song from the Album "Dangerous Woman". In this study, the author uses qualitative methods to facilitate analysis. The authors' research shows that there are 32 data for /r/, /y/, and /w/ consonants in Ariana Grande's songs. The consonant /r/ consists of 28 data with a percentage of 87%, the consonants /y/ consistent with 1 data with percentages of 3%, and the consonants /w/ consistent of 3 data with 10%. In such studies it can be seen that the consonances that are predominantly devoiced are /r/, followed by /w/, and /y/.
