Abstract
This research gives an explanation about how to understand the discourse analysis towards an advertisement especially an advertisement in English language that explained in bahasa explanation. The research that the writer has shown was intended to give an explanation that in advertisement presentation the aspects that explained was not made to describe the real explanation instead to make the reader interested with the promotion or with the product itself, thus, this research has a further intention to give an understanding about an advertisement which is seen by the slogan and the description that was given in the advertisement to make the reader of printed advertisement to be more serious and more selective to consider a product towards an advertisement. in purposes to learn about discourse analysis especially discourse of argumentation in more way, the steps that probably can be done, are understanding the slogan and the description of the advertisement then criticizing to ask is there any the relationship both of the two aspects. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The research steps are: (1) Prepared an English advertisement test that was blended with Bahasa, analyzed the data that has been collected, and (3) concluding is there any relation and fallacy between the slogan and the explanation.
