Abstract
The aimed of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of post humanism knowledge in the novel entitled Machines Like Me, written by Ian McEwan. The research was conducted for approximately six months from March to August 2021. This study applied a qualitative descriptive method, while data were obtained by reading and finding sentences and analyzing sentences systematically through the research process. This study applies theories based on post humanism aesthetics by Wamberg and Thomsen, the negative impact of post humanism on humans by Markoff, and the negative impact of post humanism on the reinvention of nature by Haraway. The author collected 27 data in this study.
