Abstract

This research goal is to identify Analysis of Space Preposition and Metaphor Preposition of Harley Queen in “Bird of Prey” Movie. The method used in this research is qualitative research while the data analysis used in this research is a case study. The writer took the theory about 33 common Space Preposition or Metaphor Preposition which are purposed by George Yule (1998) as the theory used for analyzing the data of the research. The object data used in this research were taken from 33 data Space Preposition or Metaphor Preposition. The result of the research showed that Space Preposition and Metaphor Preposition in “Bird of Prey” movie with saw main character Harley Queen. From 33 data, the writer found that space prepositions and metaphorical prepositions. There are 13 data found in Prepositions of Space : Specific Point in Space, General Area, Movement, Three Dimensional Space, To Horizontal Surface, Point, Surface, Volume, Two or Three Dimensional, Surface or Linear Concept, Passing or Passing, Vertical Dimension. Meanwhile, there are 21 data found in Metaphor Preposition: Thoughts and Meanings, Feelings or Emotions.
