Abstract
This research is aimed to know how the appearance of aspiration and unaspiration phonemes in the paper which entitled “Aspirated And Unaspirated Phonemes In English Song Sung By Korean Singer Jung Eunji”. This paper presents the aspirated and unaspirated voiceless phonemes which attached in the seven songs that Jung Eunji cover “All I Want for Christmas is You, Santa Tell Me, Into the Unknown, This Is Me, Love on Top, Birthday, and Speechless”. The research method use for this study was qualitative research method that was descriptive and tended to use analysis. The writer obtain 34 data from the seven song that Eunji cover. Result of data analysis showed that the phoneme that found out to be aspirated are /p, t, k/, most phoneme that get aspiration from the data analysis is phoneme /t/ and the phoneme cannot get aspirated with fricative /s/ in the beginning of syllable. The writer suggested if want to now aspiration when speaking try to put a paper in front of your mouth.
