Abstract

The purpose of this research is to knowing if there is a correlation between using grammar and writing skill in 7th grade of SMPIT AL FATAH. The method through correlation technique “product moment pearson”. In data collection, the writer use writing value documentation and grammar test. Writing value comes from from 7th graders working on writing. The instrument used grammar and writing skills are 0,539. It may be concluded that there is a correlation between grammar and writing skills.
