Abstract

This study aims to determine the morphological conditions that affect a word by using Geometry of Sisters by Luanne Rice as the object of the data analysis, this research uses qualitative descriptive method. The author collects the data through a Literary and Library study. This study focuses on theories of Katamba and Jean Aitchison in presenting the types of morphological conditions and how the process of morphological conditions affects a word. The steps taken by the writer to obtain the result is by reading the prescribed part of the research data, then marking each finding containing the element of morphological conditions. The findings of the authors derive two classifications of the morphological conditions found in this novel. In detail, with total of 45 datum with 47 data with the morphological conditions of the data found, plural nouns with 8(17,3%)Verb form the most emerging 39 (82,97%).
