Abstract

This research is aimed to find out an interaction of an article toward a phoneme that has a difference in using phonetically and phonologically. This research is using qualitative descriptive method. Those methods are phonetically and phonologically. The method processes are includes: (1). Data collection which is phoneme interaction with definite and indefinite article, (2), Data analyzed from phoneme influencing article using, (3). The conclusion result of an article using differentiation toward a phoneme (4). The explanation of phoneme using with article which seen from interaction between a phoneme with a happening article. The results are contain of indefinite article with 22 data (55%), definite article with 12 data (30%), Approximant /J/ with 4 data (10%), and approximant /w/ with 2 data (5%).
