Abstract
This research was conducted to explain and know about Code Mixing in Work Instruction of Welding Department PT. Futaba Industrial Indonesia. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data from this study are 22 data. In collecting the data, the author uses the documentation. The writer uses the main theory of Miriam Meyerhof Sociolinguistics. The main tool used in this study is the writer who helped with several references. From the analysis it can be concluded that Code Mixing in Work Instruction of Welding Department PT. Futaba Industrial Indonesia is found 3 form with the result of data presentation showing word (30%), phrase (55%) and bastard (25%). There are 2 type of code mixing Insertion (85%) and alternation (15%). Meanwhile there are 3 factor of code mixing role Relationship between writer and the reader (20%), non existence word in Bahasa (20%) and Necessity of the word in a practical manner (60%). Moreover causal of code mixing are not appropriate translation (75%) and cannot find proper word (25%). There are usage of code mixing found in the data, need filling (35%) and prestige filling (65%).
