Abstract

This study aims to find out and study the translation procedure use in the features Adobe Lightroom Application. The main theory is the translation procedures by Vinay and Darbelnet which contain seven types of procedures and use theory Nida and Taber in four types of dynamic equivalence. The method of the research is qualitative research. The writer focuses on word of features Light, Color, Effects, Detail, and Crop & Rotate as the scope of the research and the writer analyzed 37 data as the representative. The result of the data based on the writer analysis, shows that 51,4% of translation procedure is literal translation, 16,2% of translation procedure is borrowing, 16,2% of translation procedure is adaptation, 8,1% of translation procedure is calque, and 8,1% of translation procedure is transposition. In addition, having a natural and easy form of expression, making sense, and producing a similar response are the result of dynamic equivalence.
