Abstract

This research entitled the correlation between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension in SMK Gelora Industri West Cikarang is intented to obtain empiric evidence and significant result regarding students vocabulary mastery and their reading comprehension. The population if this research in eleventh grade of SMK Gelor Industri 2020 which amounted to 75 students, only 30 students taken as samples from this research determined by random sampling technique used quota sampling. The collected data were analyzed using Statistical Package for the Special Sciences (SPSS) 23 and Microsoft Excel 2010 from this research indicating that there was significant correlation between student‟s vocabulary mastery and their reading comprehension in eleventh grade of SMK Gelora Industri. The result of this research is robcerved ≥ rtable, 0,972 ≥ 0,374. Therefore the conclusion obtained is Ha is received.
