Abstract

Communication is an activity that is usually carried out by living things. Not only humans, but animals and even plants communicate in different ways. Communicating is often associated with interaction, both communication and interaction are two different things. Interaction is a type of action that occurs when two or more objects affect or have an effect on one another. This idea of a two-way effect is important in the concept of interaction, as opposed to a one-way relationship to causation. Whereas communication is "a process when a person or several people, groups, organizations, and society create and use information to connect with the environment and other people". In the research under study, there were 16 (sixteen) data from second level utterances with a percentage of 53.3% of the 30 data contained in the moana movie. And on the other hand, there are 14 data from first level-based utterances with a percentage of 46.7% of the 30 data contained in moana movie. In general, communication is done verbally or verbally which can be understood by both parties. In practice, these two things are used in everyday life. Often times, when we communicate with our speech partners or listeners. We don't pay attention to the speech we pronounce but that doesn't become a barrier to understanding one another. In a speech there is the smallest unit called utterance.
