This research applies the theory of Tarigan for contrastive analysis and Mona Baker for English grammar and Abdul Chaer Indonesian grammar. As the results of representative data, there are 5 similarities and 4 differences. Similarities in the two languages are found in sentence structure, subject, verb, and object, definite in sentences.
